The Italian Football League is hosting its 42nd championship on Saturday, July 1 at the University of Toledo Glass Bowl, and area residents have the opportunity to win tickets. The game, Italy’s equivalent to the Super Bowl, is debuting in the United States for the first time ever. The league chose Toledo, noting that Ohio is considered the birthplace of football.
Numerous events are planned leading up to the event, which will culminate with a post-game fireworks display at 10 p.m.
