On August 23, Lucas County closed the intersection at Bancroft Street and McCord Road for 70 days to construct a roundabout.
Vernon Nagel Inc. of Napoleon, was awarded the intersection improvement project which straddles Springfield and Sylvania townships.
During this period, the detour route will be: Bancroft Street–McCord from Bancroft to Dorr Street; Dorr Street from McCord to Holland Sylvania Road; Holland Sylvania from Dorr to Bancroft; McCord Road–Central Avenue from McCord to King Road; King Road from Central to Dorr; Dorr from King to McCord.
