The American Red Cross experienced a shortfall in blood and platelet donations last month and is seeking the public’s help to ensure a strong blood supply this summer by making and keeping an appointment to give in the weeks ahead.
Locally, a blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, at Proclaim FM, 7112 Angola Road.
As a thank-you, all who come to give in June will receive a $10 gift card by email to a merchant of their choice, and also will be automatically entered for a chance to win a backyard theater package.
To donate, residents must be 16 years of age or older, in good health and weigh at least 110 pounds.
