A bridge replacement project on Monclova Road will begin on August 29.
The Lucas County Commissioners awarded a contract to Vernon Nagel, Inc. of Napoleon, to replace the bridge between Waterville Monclova and Jerome roads in Monclova Township.
The bridge is about 2,100 feet east of Waterville Monclova Road.
Due to construction, Monclova Road will be closed between Waterville Monclova and Jerome for 50 days.
During the closure, the detour route will be Waterville Monclova to Stitt to Russell to Jerome roads.
