Women of Toledo will host its seventh annual Global Gala on Saturday, November 9, from 5 to 9 p.m., at the HeART Gallery, 428 North Erie Street, Toledo.
This year, the organization recognizes diverse, local talents, artists and performers, with a highlight on Toledo’s renowned jazz vocalist, Ramona Collins, who will perform for guests during the VIP reception, from 4 to 5 p.m.
The gala is a celebration of cross-cultural unity, bringing together traditional and modern influences through a fashion show with creations by Simply D’Vine Boutique, Satrangi and Folkorico Fashion.
There will be main stage performances from local favorites JP Dynasty, DivaDance, El Corazon de Mexico and Aegela Centers for Middle Eastern Dance.
Menu selections will be available from Balance Pan Asian Grille, Jet’s Pizza, Jikoni Toledo, La Fiesta Restaurant– Maumee, Lee Oriental Food Mart and Korean Restaurant and Original Sub Shop and Deli. Dessert offerings will include Sidon Lebanese Grill, PM Frosted Fantasies, So Many Somethings Dessertiere and Be Sweet Treats.
There will be an opportunity to bid on locally crafted pieces in a silent auction and to participate in raffles.
Proceeds from the event will directly support Women of Toledo’s mission to empower women through education, engagement and community empowerment.
Guests are encouraged to attend in their cultural or traditional attire to make the evening an experience of shared stories, style and connection.
