Central Catholic High School’s 33rd annual scholarship fund-raiser, Passport to Paris, will take place Saturday, March 22, at the Pinnacle in Maumee. Cocktails and registration begin at 5:30 p.m. The cost per ticket is $100. The evening includes online auction items, casino games, raffles, a “race to the Eiffel Tower” with CCHS celebrity racers, food, fun and fund-raising, all to benefit the Central Catholic scholarship fund.
Seating is limited, and registration will close March 12, at 3 p.m. Ticket purchase serves as an RSVP to the inperson event and gives access to the online auction, which runs from March 8 through March 22, at 10 p.m.
Raffle tickets are on sale for a seven-day/six-night stay for two at the beautiful Makai Club Resort in Kauai, Hawaii. The trip includes accommodations and airfare paid through a Delta Airlines voucher. The package is valued at more than $5,000 and the winner has 12 months to take the trip. Proceeds from the raffle also benefit the scholarship fund.
The honorary chairs for this event are Dan Rudski, Class of 1995, and Tegan (Smith) Rudski, Class of 1994. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available. Call 419-255-2280 for more information.
“The annual scholarship gala is more than just an event; it is a celebration of faith and opportunity,” said Cory Lehman, Central Catholic’s director of advancement. “Investing in the education of our students is an investment in the future. Through Catholic education, we nurture minds and guide hearts in faith and service. Together, we empower young leaders, create opportunities and build a community where excellence and compassion thrive.”
Anyone unable to attend the event in person can still participate in this fund-raiser in several ways. They can bid on online auction items, purchase raffle tickets or donate online directly to the student scholarship fund.
