Cherry Street Mission, in collaboration with Leadership Toledo, will host a Second Chance Job Fair on Tuesday, May 6, in the Workforce Development wing at 1501 Monroe Street, Toledo. This event also is sponsored by Mercy Health.
The job fair will connect individuals seeking a fresh start with employers committed to providing meaningful employment opportunities. Participating companies are inclusive, offer living wages, supportive work environments and a chance to thrive, especially for those who may have faced challenges or blemishes in their past but are ready to work hard, stay dependable and exceed expectations.
The day will begin with a free networking lunch served by the Second Helping Food Truck at 12:30 p.m., followed by the job fair from 1 to 3 p.m.
It will be held at Cherry Street Mission, Workforce Development wing (south entrance), 1501 Monroe Street, Toledo.
