Columbia Gas of Ohio, Toledo Jeep Fest and Connecting Kids to Meals team up for Hunger Action Month

On Tuesday, September 30, Columbia Gas of Ohio, Toledo Jeep Fest and Connecting Kids to Meals will once again partner to support underserved children in northwest Ohio in recognition of Hunger Action Month and to celebrate another exciting year of the Toledo Jeep Fest.

This multi-year partnership brings together three organizations toward a common goal: meeting the basic needs of northwest Ohio students and youths who are living in food insecurity. Team members from Connecting Kids to Meals, Toledo Jeep Fest and Columbia Gas of Ohio will converge on Columbia Gas’ Toledo office to pack meals, decorate uplifting cards for students and help Connecting Kids to Meals prepare to serve children in the area.

Connecting Kids to Meals has been in operation since 2002, and has served more than eight million meals to hungry kids in need in Lucas, Wood, Hancock and Seneca counties. This three-way partnership furthers Columbia’s vision to be a trusted energy partner, supporting Connecting Kids to Meals as they feed underserved children in northwest Ohio, and Toledo Jeep Fest as they showcase Toledo’s history and culture to tens of thousands of visitors each year.

The event will be held in the back lot of Columbia Gas of Ohio’s Toledo office, 2901 East Manhattan Boulevard.
