5:30 p.m. Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District, 3350 Hill Avenue, Suite K, Toledo, will offer a vermicomposting 101 class until 7 p.m. Participants can make a bin, learn about indoor and outdoor composting, and leave with a ready-made vermicomposting container and a starter pack of worms. Presenters will explain and give suggestions about composting. Cost is $50 and includes two storagetotes, worms and light refreshments.
