Springfield Local Schools invites the community to the annual Blue Devils Wicked Wheels Car Fest next Wednesday, August 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the high school parking lot, 1470 South McCord Road.
“Things will get a little wicked in Holland in a good way,” said Kristina White, SLS community liaison. A variety of vehicles– from classics to tuners–will converge to participate in the fourth Blue Devils’ Wicked Wheels Car Fest. The event also will feature music, food trucks, a performance by the Blue Devil band, an attended children’s area, and “Information Highway” along with celebrities.
The car show started in 2018 to introduce Blue Devil Radio–97.7fm WNLB, at the time the high school’s new radio station–to the community. The event remains familyoriented and there is no charge to attend.
Thousands of guests are expected to enjoy the event with proceeds going to support student safety, leadership, citizenship and creative classroom initiatives.
There will be educational opportunities such as driving simulators, and local celebrities who will serve as judges. To register or for more information, call Kristina White at 419-867-5720.
