SCHOOL NEWS
Last week, Crissey Elementary took part in “Start With Hello,” an initiative created by the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation. The purpose of this program is to help all students feel included and to help those students who are struggling with loneliness. Since the pandemic, finding ways to reach out and connect with others has been more important than ever before. To help have a little fun, we held activities each day to help everyone connect with others in the school. These activities gave the students an opportunity to share more about who they are and learn things they have in common with their classmates.
Our goal is that all Crissey Lions have a friend and feel included.

Saturday, September 24: Springfield High School cheer youth clinic, 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 28: board of education meeting, 4:15 p.m.
