Early childhood education’s impact on local economy

Rotary Club of Toledo and Chicks for Charity will host a community-wide education summit, “Investing in Our Community’s Economic Future: Early Childhood Education is Everything,” to benefit the work of HOPE Toledo.

The summit will be held on Monday, March 17, at 11:30 a.m. at the Glass City Center ballroom.

The event includes keynote speaker, Marica Mitchell with the Bainum Family Foundation, and a panel discussion with national experts, regional business leaders, educators and parents.

Northwest Ohio’s future depends on a well-educated workforce. Access to affordable early education and childcare is crucial in this equation.

Tickets are on sale through March 13 at eventbrite.com. The $20 cost includes admission, lunch and parking.
