The Healing Barn, a nonprofit horse rescue facility at 27731 Bradner Road, Millbury, will host “Be a Horse Hero” fund-raiser on Friday, August 25, at Hilton Garden Inn, Perrysburg, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person and available at the healingbarn.org. The evening will feature music from DC Taylor, live and silent auctions, photo booth, raffles, food and cash bar. Lissa Guyton from Channel 13 will emcee.
