The Gathering of Quilters, founded in 1982, promotes the art and craft of quilt making.
The group meets at Holland Free Methodist Church at 6605 Angola Road, Holland, on the third Thursday of each month, September through May, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (excluding December).
On November 20, Lisa Spaulding will present a program on the “How and Why of Longarming.” She is the former owner of the Quilt Foundry of Maumee and a world traveler.
