Haunted Waterville tours, created by the Waterville Historical Society, offer a new way to experience old Waterville and its haunted heritage in a small group environment.
The journey starts in Robbins House Museum, where the group will meet special guests ranging from ghost hunters to mediums to tarot interpreters.
The group will then board a horse drawn trolley for a 45- minute tour of historic Waterville. Storytellers will enlighten visitors about Waterville’s long-standing haunted heritage while passing by the places where verified hauntings have occurred or are still occurring.
Tours are planned for June 16, July 21, August 18, September 15 and October 6. They begin at 5:15, 6, 6:45, 7:30 and 8:15 p.m. The total time for the program is 90 minutes.
Tickets cost $30 each must be purchased in advance online at watervillehis tory.org. They will not be sold at the event.
Groups of 20 attending together may qualify for a 10 percent discount by contacting hauntedwaterville tours@gmail.com.
Children age 12 and younger will receive a free T-shirt with their ticket purchase.
The tours will be held rain or shine, and no refunds will be given.
