SCHOOL NEWS

This is a write up from our counselor Grant Toepfer-Gaver, who partnered with Penta Career Center to help meet career standards.

What an exhilarating journey our students embarked on during the recent class lesson on the manufacturing career cluster. With the help of Penta, the classroom was transformed into a dynamic hub of innovation and creativity as the students dove into hands-on activities at various stations. From designing prototypes to mastering assembly processes, each station offered a unique glimpse into the exciting world of manufacturing. The energy was palpable as our budding engineers and inventors collaborated, problem-solved and brought their ideas to life. It was more than just a lesson; it was a captivating experience that ignited curiosity and passion for the manufacturing industry. As parents and community members, you’ll be thrilled to know that your children are not just learning about careers—they’re actively engaging in them.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates on our journey to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.

Holland Intermediate Presents Herb’s Heroes Toy Drive The toy drive will be held when classes resume from Thanksgiving break on November 27 and continue until December 4 or 6. A pizza party will be held for the home room class that collects the most toys. It is usually based on a percentage of toys collected for the winning class.

So, the homeroom class with the highest percentage (number of toys collected divided by number of students in class) will win a pizza party from PizzAroma on Herb’s Heroes.
