Holland Intermediate

It’s about time to meet Holland Intermediate’s newest employee.

Last week, Holland Principal Mr. Evans and the counselor Grant Toepfer-Gaver spent each day at the Ability Center to learn how to work with our newest employee, Bolt. He will be the second facility dog in the district and he now lives with Mr. G.

Everyone, especially the staff, are eager to meet Bolt. However, getting him acclimated to the building and the students is a process. Students will get to meet Bolt when we return in January. Unfortunately, staff and students will not be able to interact with him for the first two weeks. He really likes children, but all of this is part of his training.

Big picture, Bolt is a permanent member of Holland Intermediate; he will impact the lives of many students and staff for years to come.
