SCHOOL NEWS
We have reached the final week before Thanksgiving break. Friday will be an early dismissal for students which means we let them out at 10:45. There will be breakfast, but no lunch that day. Just a reminder that the 18th is the final day of the first trimester. The second trimester will begin on November 28. Your student will begin a new special for that trimester. Your homeroom teacher will communicate this to your student.
Our lost and found has accumulated quite a bit of coats and hoodies. Please remind your students to look through these before they leave for Thanksgiving or winter break.
Gamers of the Week
Each week our teams nominate one student as their gamer of the week. The category they are being selected for is perseverance.
Fourth grade teams: Sonic Racing, Sonya; Animal Crossing, Alayna, and Marvel-ous, Evan. Fifth grade teams: Team Legend, Lillian; Pac Peeps, Levi; Minecraft, Avery, and Team Splatoon, Aubriana.
Berry/Klena: Dorman.
Important Dates
Monday, November 21: Teacher professional development, no students.
Tuesday, November 22: Teacher work day. Wednesday through Friday, November 23 to 25: Fall break for students. Monday, November 28: Start of second trimester.
Monday, November 28: Parent conferences (invite only), 2:40 to 7 p.m.
Tuesday, November 29: Picture retakes.
