Holland Intermediate, Springfield Middle School hold spring open houses

It’s that time of year–and to raise awareness and excitement for the district’s rising fourth and sixth grade students/families, Holland Intermediate and Springfield Middle School chose May 9 to open their doors to host a fun evening of information and tours.

Families from Crissey, Dorr and Holloway joined Principal Andy Evans, Assistant Principal Jenna Moden, current parent and student leaders to catch just a glimpse of what awaits the school’s “new” Little Blue Devils.

Down the long hallway (yes, the schools are connected), families of rising sixth grade students experienced the same buzz as Principal Jeff Pendry, Assistant Principal Diana Bergman and soon-to-be School Counselor Kurtis Tucker (presently at Springfield High School), joined by SMS ambassadors, showed-off academic and extracurricular offerings, as well as the traditions that can only be found at SMS.

Any family unable to attend is encouraged to contact either school to arrange a visit.
