The Holland Pickleball Club will hold its annual member tournament in June.
This year’s tournament will take place at the Strawberry Acres pickleball courts on June 3 and 4.
The Saturday schedule for play is 8 a.m., men’s doubles; 11 a.m, women’s doubles; 2 p.m., advanced doubles.
Sunday starts at 9 a.m. with mixed doubles and 1 p.m., advanced mixed doubles.
Since its inception, the club has grown annually and now boasts nearly 400 members, and approximately 114 members are participating in the tournament.
Each participant receives a swag bag and an automatic entry for a door prize.
The top three teams in each division receive gift certificates and medals.
The tournament committee consists of four members and more than 20 volunteers who help with setup, registration, scorekeeping and concessions.
This is the club’s biggest event of the year. In addition to the participants and volunteers, they expect to draw dozens of spectators each day.
