Holloway Partners with Springfield Fire Department to Teach Important Safety Lessons Holloway kindergarten students were treated with a visit from their heroes from the Springfield Fire Department. Students were given information on fire safety, offered tours of a fire truck and ambulance, and shown the equipment used during emergency calls.
These professionals also reminded all of us that “falling back” is a perfect time to remember that we all should check/change the batteries in our home smoke detectors. I know I caught myself asking, “have we done that recently?”
Join us in thanking the Springfield Fire Department for their service and also the important role they play in our community. Whether it’s teaching our students important lessons or by attending the trunk or treat at Holloway, they are an example of a community partnership at its finest.
