Final Days of School
Spring has sprung and the weather has been fantastic. I hope you and your family have been enjoying the nice evenings and weekends as much as we have.
We are closing out the school year with a Spirit Week. Students were encouraged to do the following: Wednesday, May 19 was Pajama Day— wear your favorite pajamas; Thursday, May 20 was We Love Our Staff Day—dress as your favorite staff member; Friday, May 21 was Hats Off to the Weekend—wear your favorite hat. Monday, May 24 will be American Monday— wear your red, white and blue; Tuesday, May 25, will be Super Hero Day—dress as your favorite Super Hero, and Wednesday, May 26 will be Springfield Colors—wear your blue, white and gray. May 26 is an early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. No lunch will be served. As we look to finish up the year, I just wanted to let you know that we, the Holloway staff, appreciate the sup port you have given the school and your students as we have made our way through this whirlwind of a year.
Those wishing to contact Principal Nelle Ratliff may do so throughout the summer as needed via email. Mrs. Ratliff will be in the school intermittently, but promises to always check her email. Families should know that if there is anything needed over the summer to help support your student(s) or family, she will do her best to assist.
