The Ohio High School Athletic Association has named this year’s Officials Hall of Fame inductees, as well as their Officials of the Year in each high school sport. They were inducted June 24, at the Hilton Polaris in Columbus.
One official of the year is selected for each sport, and the class is selected through a process that includes OHSAA staff and directors in coalition with local officials associations.
Out of the 20 officials named to the prestigious honor, Matthew Farthing of Perrysburg was named as the Girls Lacrosse Official of the Year, and Nick Adamski of Toledo was named as the Boys Lacrosse Official of the Year.
