The Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District (Lucas SWCD) will hold its 60th annual meeting on Wednesday, November 13, at the Crosby Conference Center, Toledo Botanical Garden, 5403 Elmer Drive, Toledo.
Open to the public, the deadline to purchase tickets is November 6.
The general program and dinner will begin at 6 p.m. For those who arrive early, doors open at 5 p.m., there will be a “Through the Years” scavenger hunt to participate in and receive a commemorative gift.
Lucas SWCD staff will share highlights and accomplishments from the year which will be followed by a mini-concert featuring two Toledo Symphony musicians.
Several community members will be recognized for their commitment to excellence in education, conservation and partnership with the district.
There will be a door prize raffle featuring gifts from various local agencies and businesses.
To purchase a ticket, go to LucasSWCD.org/Annual -Meeting or stop by the office, 3350 Hill Avenue, Suite K, Toledo. Tickets are $20 and include dinner, entertainment and one entry to the door prize raffle.
Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event with either cash or check.
Lucas County citizens ages 18 and older are eligible to vote in the board supervisor election. Voters can either cast their ballot in-person or via absentee.
To vote in-person, visit the Lucas SWCD office during business hours through 3 p.m. on November 13 or come to the Toledo Botanical Garden on November 13, between 5 and 6 p.m.
