The League of Women Voters of Toledo-Lucas County urges all registered voters to vote in the special election on Tuesday, August 2.
Voter turnout for the May 3 primary election was slim. As a result, only 15 percent of registered voters selected the candidates who will run in the November General Election.
The league encourages a higher voter turnout for the special election. They remind voters that the county Board of Elections has moved and is now at 3737 West Sylvania Avenue, Toledo.
Early voting is available at C entrance, and the ballot drop box is near the C entrance.
