The Maumee Summer Fair will celebrate its 45th year on August 12 and 13 onDudley and Wayne streets.The Taste of Maumee starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, featuring 11 Maumee restaurants. Youngsters will enjoy a fun zone with games and inflatables, and Romick Railway train rides, while the 21-and-over crowd can attend the lot party. A free family-friendly outdoor movie will be shown on a32-foot movie screen.On Saturday, August 13, the marketplace will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 130 artists, crafters and commercial booths will linethe streets.Other activities include a classic car show hosted by the NW Ohio Street Machiners, and the Right Direction bike demo team performances at 1 and 3 p.m.
New for 2022, the Performance Dogs of Ohio willperform at noon and 2 p.m.The Maumee Palooza Stage will feature live entertainment, beginning with the Maumee Community Band at 10:30 a.m., and continuing with all genres of musicthroughout the day.The Summer Fair Lot Party will transition to a 21 and over crowd inside the fenced beer area from 5 p.m. to midnight with two acts toclose out the event.For more information,visit maumeesummerfair.
