Mercy Health welcomes orthopaedics and sports medicine specialists

Mercy Health will expand its orthopaedics and sports medicine team with the addition of James Lyions and Doug Olson.

Formerly of McLaren St. Luke’s West Side Orthopeadics, the surgeons will continue to serve patients of Maumee, Perrysburg, Waterville and beyond in the same location, 6005 Monclova Road, Suite 110, Maumee, now named Mercy Health– Fallen Timbers Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

“My goal with every patient is to find the correct diagnosis as quickly as possible and offer all of the appropriate and reasonable treatment options available,” said Dr. Olson, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. “Although multiple patients may have the same diagnosis, every patient is unique, and their needs are unique. I present all options and offer what may be best for each patient’s individual needs.”

The team at Mercy Health–Fallen Timbers offers patients the latest techniques in total knee, shoulder, and hip replacement. Both surgeons also specialize in treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions of the hand, wrist and elbow, and offer minimally invasive arthroscopic surgical solutions for the shoulder, elbow, wrist and knee.

The practice is now scheduling new and established patients. Call 419-893-2663 to make an appointment. For more information, visit mercy.com.
