‘Nighttime Mothing’ continues at Irwin Prairie through August, Sept.

Three to four sheets of lights have been strung up near the parking lot at Irwin Prairie, 9987 West Bancroft Street, Holland.

Nighttime mothing events, organized by the Toledo Naturalists Association, have been happening once a month at sunset on Friday nights.

Unique and rare species of moths emerge from the biome to be spotted by patrons.

The association would like to remind participants that there are no restrooms on site, and they should bring water bottles and flashlights or UV lights.
