The 50th annual historic Old West End festival will be held June 2 to 4 in Toledo.
The neighborhood features a large collection of Victorian, Edwardian and arts and crafts homes. It incorporates Monroe Street, including the Toledo Museum of Art, to Collins and Central, and from Glenwood Avenue to Collingwood Boulevard.
Events begin with a Friday night glow roll. Bikes and golf carts will travel throughout the Old West End starting at 8:30 p.m.
The festival continues on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
The 114th anniversary King Wamba carnival parade will kick-off the weekend at 10 a.m. Participants from throughout the Midwest journey to Toledo to create a visual odyssey of art cars, floats, performance art and musical presentations. The parade route is 1.8 miles long and begins near Glenwood Elementary School.
A coronation ceremony on the art fair stage will crown this year’s king and queen, John and Kim Howard.
There will be live entertainment at three locations, an art fair on the grounds of the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion, a food and beer garden, and yard sales throughout the entire West End.
A marketplace will be set up along Woodruff Avenue, between Scottwood and Collingwood.
Children’s activities will be located near the marketplace/ art fair and at Glenwood Park that will include Metroparks and Toledo Museum of Art events.

The Glenwood Park bazaar takes place at Robinwood at Collins Street, across from Glenwood School. It will include food, entertainment and activities for children.
The 5k stampede kicks off Sunday morning at the Symphony Building, 1838 Parkwood Avenue. The run/walk winds its way through the historic tree-lined streets of Toledo’s Old West End.
