After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, Act 2 Productions Toledo is back with its summer theater camp. Openings are available for this year’s production of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast Jr.”
The camp will be held Mondays through Fridays, July 11 to 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 2147 Monroe Street in Toledo. The program is open to children ages 8 through 18. The final day will feature the performance.
“We are so excited to be back doing a theater camp for students this summer,” said Heather Schneemann, executive director of Act 2 Productions. “The kids work so hard for two weeks to put on a show that typically takes two months or more.”
Past summer camps have been “Frozen Jr.” and “Seussical the Musical Jr.”
Mrs. Schneemann is serving as this year’s producer and choreographer. The director is Rebecca Schmidt and music director is Lucas Patterson.
