Following a brief executive session at the May 10 meeting, the Penta Career Center board of education approved the purchase of a building at 1205 Corporate Drive, Holland, for $1.1 million.
The 1,600-square-foot building will be utilized similar to a career center in Bowling Green, explained Superintendent Ed Ewers. It will house classroom and lab space for adult education and expand Penta’s footprint in the fivecounty area it serves.
Constructed in 1980 and remodeled in 1990, the structure was owned by FRNIAK LLC, and most recently housed MT Technologies.
