The Village of Holland and the Dwelling Place will kick off the summer Picture in the Park series at Strawberry Acres Park on Friday, June 2 with the animated film “Minions: the Rise of Gru.” Family activities begin at 7 p.m., with the movie to be shown at dusk. There will be popcorn and beverages served for free. There is a nominal fee for candy and carbonated beverages. Moviegoers are asked to bring folding chairs and blankets for the featured presentation. Strawberry Acres Park is at 950 South McCord Road, Holland.
