ProMedica will offer the following community events in April:
•Monday, April 7– the ProMedica Weight Loss Surgery Support Group is for patients who have had weight loss surgery or those who would like more information about the surgery. The group meets the first Monday of every month at the ProMedica Health and Wellness Center, Education Conference Rooms 1 and 2, 5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania, beginning at 6 p.m. No registration is required.
•Wednesday, April 9–the American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at ProMedica Flower Hospital, 5200 Harroun Road, Sylvania, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Conference Center Room E. •Thursday, April 24–the ProMedica Stroke Support Group will discuss recovering with aphasia with the University of Michigan Aphasia Program. The meeting will take place at ProMedica Flower Hospital Conference Center, 5200 Harroun Road, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Stroke survivors, caregivers and supporters are encouraged to attend. No registration is required.
