The Lucas County commissioners awarded a contract to Great Lakes Demolition Co. of Clyde, for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Centennial Road in Springfield Township.
Work on the road will begin Monday, June 10, and last 45 days, resulting in the closure of Hill at Centennial.
The detour route will be:
•Hill Avenue–Crissey Road from Hill to Angola Road, Angola from Crissey to King Road and King from Angola to Hill; and Centennial Road– Nebraska Avenue from Centennial to King, King from Nebraska to Angola and Angola from King to Centennial.
