The board of Lucas County commissioners have contracted Vernon Nagel Inc. of Napoleon for construction and improvement of the roundabout at the intersection of Sylvania Avenue and Kilburn Road in Richfield Township.
The intersection will be closed for 45 days, starting Monday, June 26.
During the closure period, the detour routes will be:
•For Sylvania Avenue— Richfield Center Road, to Brint Road heading east or west, and Mitchaw from Brint heading north or south.
•For Kilburn Road—detour routes will be Brint Road to Mitchaw Road to head north, Sylvania Avenue to Herr Road heading south, and Central Avenue heading west or east.
