Second annual Car‐nival set for September 13

The second annual Carnival, a classic car show, will be held Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Franciscan Center parking lot on Lourdes University Campus. Admission is free.

Rosary Care Center, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, will host the Car-nival, which helps raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s and other dementia- related conditions touch the lives of so many in our community and in 2024, Car-nival raised more than $2,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year, they look to double that contribution to the cause.

This show sets itself apart by its goal to help end Alzheimer’s with the help of car enthusiasts throughout northwest Ohio. Funds are raised by sponsors, show participant donations, a raffle and bake sale. A Schwinn adult electric tricycle will be offered through a sealed bid auction through September 30.
