In keeping with tradition, Springfield High School seniors capped off the year with the Senior Picnic. The annual event held on a rainy day in May was moved from the football stadium indoors to the field house.
Although held indoors, the event still featured hotdogs grilled by Prinicpal Robb Brown and other administrators, as well as other food. Activities took place in the field house and photo ops were held outdoors under the protective entry canopy. They also enjoyed one last afternoon of camaraderie with friends.
Seniors took part in another tradition, walking the halls of their respective elementary, middle and high school buildings one last time, where they were greeted with high fives by underclassmen.

Immediately below, former Holloway Elementary School students gather on the playground for a group photograph, recalling memories of recess time at the school.
Bottom left and right, students gather around tables set up indoors to enjoy a picnic lunch and good times with friends, many of whom will be headed to universities locally and around the country this fall.
