SHS hosts annual Career Day

Springfield High School was buzzing with excitement as students explored future career opportunities at the annual 2025 Career Fair. The event provided a valuable chance for students to connect with representatives from a wide range of industries, including the military, skilled trades, colleges and local employers.

Held in the SHS gymnasium, the fair allowed students to ask questions, gather resources and learn firsthand about the diverse paths available to them after graduation. From hands-on demonstrations by trade professionals to conversations with college recruiters and military personnel, students gained insight into potential careers and the steps needed to achieve their goals.

“This event is a fantastic way for students to start thinking about their future,” said SHS teacher Scott Bachmann. “Whether they’re considering college, enlisting in the military or entering the workforce, today’s fair connects them with real-world opportunities.”

Springfield Local Schools remains committed to preparing students for life beyond high school, and events like the fair help ensure they are informed and ready for the next step.
