The 59th senior class at Penta Career Center was honored May 14, 15 and 16 during Senior Recognition ceremonies on the Perrysburg Township campus.
This year, four Springfield High School students attending Penta were among 51 seniors recognized as outstanding students based on performance and excellence in their respective careertechnical education programs.
Those students are Davyn Hart, inventory and warehouse operations; Ruben Martinez, construction remodeling; Erica Sniegowski, cosmetology, and Joseph Wilson, information technologies academy.
They were among 938 seniors enrolled in Penta’s career- technical programs, as well as its satellite marketing education, business, phlebotomy, teaching professions, industrial maintenance and career based intervention programs.
Each received career passports which contained a certificate of completion signed by the student’s instructor, supervisor, high school director and superintendent.
The passports also included a list of the student’s courses and outcomes; a personal data sheet, and other documents listing the student’s accomplishments.
Penta Career Center is a career-technical high school for sophomores, juniors and seniors. Penta serves the following school districts: Anthony Wayne, Benton-Carroll-Salem, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, North Baltimore, Northwood, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton and Woodmore.
