On May 6, Springfield Local Schools Superintendent Matt Geha announced a change in the 2021-22 school district calendar for students in grades kindergarten through five only.
The last day of school, which will be a full day, is now scheduled for Tuesday, May 24–the previous schedule had students attending for a half day on Wednesday, May 25.
