Class of 2022 Honors/Awards Assembly
As if it needs to be said one more time–very little about the 2021-22 school year has seemed even close to “normal.” However, you would never have suspected that was the case on May 4, when we were able, in person, to host the Class of 2022 Honors/Awards Assembly in the school’s George Tombaugh Auditorium. Present were the senior students, parents, other family members and representatives from community organizations all together for one reason–to celebrate the accomplishments of our 300-plus seniors. Although the final total has yet to be determined, a significant amount of scholarship dollars has been earned by these graduating seniors–much of which is either earned through their scholastic achievements or donated by local businesses, organizations, alumni, former and current employees, and parents. So much of the success
So much of the success these students (and their peers) achieve is due to the tremendous investment made for their education by this community. There are not adequate words to convey our thanks–however, I suspect if you look closely at any of the photos, you can see for yourself how much it is appreciated.
