Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Legalities Holland Branch Library is hosting a program designed for grandparents raising grandchildren, including those who don’t necessarily have legal custody. The event will be held Tuesday, November 1, at 6 p.m., and light refreshments will be served. When a grandparent assumes responsibility for a child, many legal relationships are created. Each one carries certain privileges, benefits, rights and responsibilities.

Judge Jack Puffenberger of the Lucas County Probate Court will be sharing information and resources to get the best legal support for grandparents raising grandchildren.

The library is at 1032 South McCord Road, Holland.
