Springfield Township will host the annual Freedom Celebration at Community Homecoming Park, 7807 Angola Road at the end of this month.
The celebration will take place from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 29 and will feature family-oriented activities, children’s games and local food trucks.
Participating vendors include Deet’s BBQ, Jojo’s, Mike’s Pizza, Porky’s Sweet Spot, Queso Kitchen, Saucy Slamwich, K&K Funnel Cakes, Snowy Summers, Suzy’s Lemonade and Toledo Mini Donut.
Activities are sponsored by the Springfield Area Prevention Coalition, 180th Fighter Wing and Sheetz.
The night will be capped with a fireworks display at 10 p.m. Sponsors of the celebration include the Countertop Shop, Elizabeth Scott Community, Holland Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Sam’s Club, Savage and Associates, Sheetz and White Family Dealerships.
