Jackson Kamm, a 2023 Evergreen High School graduate and Springfield Township resident, is the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship awarded by Glass City Federal Credit Union.
The credit union granted four additional scholarships to area students who are attending a two- or four-year accredited post-secondary institution during the 2024-25 school year.
Scholarship applicants were required to write and submit an essay, and winning recipients were selected by a panel of community business representatives.
Jackson is currently enrolled at the University of Toledo, majoring in computer science and electrical engineering.
While at Evergreen High School, he was a member of the National Honor Society and served as a tutor for other students. He achieved the Boy Scouts of America rank of Eagle Scout and participated in various Boy Scout activities.
At UT, he is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Honors College and the Esports Team.
