Sunshine Greenhouse Mother’s Day plant sale will be held at Sunshine Communities, 7223 Maumee Western Road, on Friday, May 9, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday will feature a half-off sale.
Offered will be hanging baskets, hardy perennials, annuals and garden-ready veggie plants.
At Sunshine’s greenhouse, individuals with developmental disabilities work side-by-side with job coaches to grow more than just plants—they’re cultivating skills, confidence and community while earning a paycheck.
