The Victory Center (TVC) invites the community to a day of creativity, reflection and connection at its annual Survivor Art Showcase and Serenity Garden Memorial Dedication on Saturday, April 26. This event will be held at TVC, with the art showcase taking place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the dedication at 1 p.m.
Attendees can explore the artwork of TVC cancer survivors while enjoying refreshments, music, door prizes and more. This event highlights the healing power of art and offers a space to celebrate the strength and creativity of those impacted by cancer. Thanks to the support of Sylvania Arts, one artist will receive a $100 ‘Excellence in Art’ award.
At 1 p.m., all are invited to join in the dedication of TVC’s Serenity Garden and newly paved Memorial Walkway–a space designed for reflection and remembrance.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Donations in support of its mission to provide free programs and services to cancer patients and their families are appreciated.
The event is at 3166 North Republic Boulevard, Toledo.
