TARTA brings the Muddy Shuttle back this summer

As the Toledo Mud Hens take on the rest of the International League, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) is excited to roll out another option to see games in person.

In addition to regular service that runs near Fifth Third Field on game days, TARTA is returning the Muddy Shuttle, which will allow fans to park at area locations and take a ride directly to and from Saturday home games in June, July and August.

The Muddy Shuttle was brought back in partnership with the Mud Hens, and fulfills one of the promises made during TARTA Next public engagement sessions.

Sites for Muddy Shuttle locations were determined after analyzing past ridership numbers and ticket sales by zip code.

Mud Hens fans will be able to enjoy a ride to and from the game for $3 roundtrip. First pitch for each game is set for 7:05 p.m., and shuttles will leave one hour before game time from:

•Miracle Mile Shopping Center, 1727 West Laskey Road;

•Maumee, Lucas County Recreation Center, 2901 Key Street;

•Sylvania, Centennial Terrace, 5733 Centennial Road;

•Waterville, Kroger, 8730 Waterville Swanton Road, and

•Oregon, Fassett Junior High School, 3205 Starr Avenue (June) or Starr Elementary School, 3230 Starr Avenue in July and August.
