TMACOG will hold Connections to Regional Resources for Economic Development, on Friday, July 19. Attendees will meet the new U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) representative for Ohio and Michigan, and learn how TMACOG can assist in accessing EDA resources.
Lee Shirey of U.S. EDA will provide an overview of EDA programs and funding.
Sandy Spang and Marissa Bechstein from TMACOG will highlight how working with TMACOG can help participants access funding and outline the upcoming process to develop a new comprehensive economic development strategy for the region.
Nichole Fifer, director of Bowling Green State University’s center for regional development, will explain its role as an EDA university center.
Networking and a light breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the program at 10 a.m.
