The Thomas M. Wernert Center for mental health recovery and support (TMWC) will recognize Mental Health Awareness Month in May with its “Recovery Together” health and resource fair. The event is Friday, May 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center, 208 West Woodruff Avenue, Toledo.
The fair is free and will
feature health screenings provided by Mercy Health nurses, a self-defense class from All American Karate, hairdos and hand massages by Paul Mitchell Toledo students, community art projects from NAMI of Greater Toledo, prizes, raffles, giveaways, refreshments, access to more than 20 Lucas County public service resource centers and more.
