Sylvania Arts will host a two-week youth summer theatre production camp, at the Franciscan Center at Lourdes University, Monday through Friday, July 25 through August 5, from 9 a.m. to noon.
A performance to showcase the students’ work will take place at the Franciscan Center, at 10 a.m., on Thursday, August 4.
Children ages nine through 17 are eligible to participate.
“Being onstage helps kids create their own characters, develop their confidence and self-esteem, and learn how to successfully work together in putting on a show,” said Irina Zaurov, creative director of the Sylvania Arts youth theatre program.
Registration fees are $150 per student for Sylvania and Sylvania Township residents, and $200 for non-residents. Register at sylvaniaarts.org/ shop.
